I investigate the cognitive processes that support the understanding of written language.
More specifically, I explore the way people understand different types of documents: News articles, Tales, Narrative texts, Literary texts, Advertisements, Movies with subtitles …
The general objective of my studies is to examine higher-order cognitive skills that intervene during text comprehension for both children and adults.
Data collected from these differents types of documents would contribute to deepen our knowledge of the comprehension process.
